Loving links is a very friendly and genuine site. You don't get the 'meat market' feeling that some adult sites have. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and actually met some nice women. Recommended.

Having been a member of LovingLinks for many, many years I can highly recommend it. The Bulletin Board is a great source of information and manages to balance support and guidance with fun. My two long term boyfriends were from this site and I'm still seeing my current guy. The LL site will give you as much as you need when you need it, it won't solve your problems or give you a quick fix, but will enable you to have the space to talk about normally taboo subjects in a non-judgemental environment.

Alot of sites become cattle-markets, competitive beyond belief, often forgetting why most people are there. LL offers something unique in that the people are genuinely interested in each other and, for the most part, want to preserve their marriages for the sake of their respective partners and families. This site is not about wrecking marriages, but about helping people realise what they really want out of their relationships, both extra-curricular and domestic.

As with most things in life, you will get out what you put into it. There are many different aspects to the site which I didn't use as it didn't fit in with my work/lifestyle [chatroom, gold service, darkside, private messaging], however due to the site's flexibility it is easy for it to become highly addictive.

I will always have extremely fond memories of the place and all the great people I've met at the member organised drinks events all over the country and for enabling me to meet the man who I adore.

Lovinglinks - highly recommended and highly addictive :D

As Amnesia has said, this is by far the warmest and most personal of all the sites which 'specialise' in this field.

Links manages to match people in a very personal manner and you feel part of a community rather than a collection of profiles on a database.

The owner of the site is a real person who takes great care to personally select compatibility matches for his clients, taking great care to filter potential dates so neither male nor female client is dissapointed.

No layered website, no layered billing, no layered con. Links is all about the people it represents, and which form it's community, and long may it remain so.

Just a quick note to say that of all the dating sites I've used the Loving Links site us by far the most warm and friendly. It's not a collection of frightening fleshy pictures and fake profiles. I've never had fake emails or inducements to part with ever-increasing amounts of money, just decent, honest like-minded individuals.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating. I've met a couple of people, exchanged emails with many more, have met the owner of the site and attended a fabulous long lunch with about 20 other members. It gets my vote.

What Tolstoy wrote about every unhappy family being unhappy in its own way is equally valid for every unhappy marriage. The reasons that men and women choose to find love or companionship or sex, or simply better sex outside an existing marriage are as individual and complex as the people themselves. A few months ago I would have found it hard to believe that a marital affair dating site, like Loving Links, would allow me, a middle-aged writer and academic, to find solace from a marriage that was destroying my sense of identity. To be frank, while not wanting out from my marriage, I was that cliché, the wife whose husband is in love with a younger woman. I knew that I was vulnerable, I was not sure that I even wanted an affair and I did not want to break up my marriage. Nor, being inundated with deadlines and workloads, did I have time to go through lists of unsuitable partners. But LL, as those who enter its pages call it, is a clever little search engine. I have a feeling that psychometric tests have been put to use in the creation of its few but subtle questions. Thus, those of us who slogged to put initials after our names and work in academia, find ourselves drawn to others in similar or allied fields.

There were moments, when I first joined LL (which is free for women, would I have paid? Yes, if I had any money.)that I felt I was in some kind of ideal post-conference reception, where all the bores are doing their own thing at the bar and you are surrounded by interested, attractive intelligent men who are (my god, is this possible when you are over 60 and invisible outside in the world?) wanting to get to know you. Through the site I encountered four delightful men, before I removed my name. I am certain that I could become good friends with all of them, they are not unlike some of my oldest friends and the kind of people I’d love to meet if I actually had the means to run around Britain, getting into offices and interviewing likely candidates. But I don’t. And nobody gets the opportunity to meet me except my postman since I spend eighty percent of my time at my computer except when I rush into the university to teach. And all my fellow faculty members are far too busy to utter more than the occasional hi over the photocopier. This is what life is like today.

Of the four men I got to know through emails and phone calls, one has become a lover and will, I am sure, remain a friend even when the affair burns itself out. But, perhaps, even more than the joy of a new love affair (I use this word precisely, there is nothing sleazy about this site) is the delight in realising that at I have rediscovered the sensual, and sexual person that I used to be. Passion is not bounded by age. For anyone thinking that life has stopped for them and they should concentrate on the garden, I would say, ok, but weeding is much more fun if you are doing it before you go out to meet your lover.
